Trat Is Safe for Travel – No Curfew or Martial Law
Published: Friday, 26 December 2025
Dear Travellers who love beautiful seas and delicious Thai food,
We have recently received several questions regarding the situation at the border, and we would like to share clear and up-to-date information for your perfect vacation.
Although Trat is one of the provinces bordering Cambodia, the main conflict areas are in other provinces, far from Trat. While there had been a few minor incidents at the Trat border, Trat Province is large, and our area is not affected.
Our Town and Islands Are Safe for Travel
Our hotel and this town are located on the mainland, not far from the sea and piers, and well away from the border. The islands — Koh Chang, Koh Kood, Koh Mak, and Koh Wai — are even farther from the border and all business remain fully open and safe for travel.
Currently, there is no curfew or martial law. Also there is no announcement from the Thai government advising against travel to this area of Trat or the islands.
Travellers Continue to Visit Daily
Both Thai and international travellers continue to visit daily, and local business are operating as usual. Our guests still enjoy the morning market, the night market, delicious street food, and Thai massage before heading to the islands or airports. This town is a good stop in Trat as always.
All Transportation Services Are Operating Normally
We have direct contact channels with all key transportation companies in this region, as one of our core services is to organize transportation for our guests to ensure the best travel experience. Therefore, we can confirm that all transportation services — including airports, airlines, piers, ferries, and taxis — are operating safely and normally, with no impact from the incident.
We are happy to share information so you can travel with comfort. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time or see the useful topics below.
Best regards,
