From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Bus Terminal
This is the most selected and cost-effective option because passengers travel directly from the airport to Trat Bus Terminal. Tickets can be purchased at the airport. From Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Trat Bus Terminal
In case the public bus and the public van at the Suvarnabhumi Airport are fully booked, please use a public bus or a public van at Ekkamai Bus Terminal. Directions are below:
1. From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), use the Airport Rail Link located beneath the airport building to Ekkamai Bus Terminal. The journey takes 45 minutes – 1 hour.
2. At Ekkamai Bus Terminal, purchase a ticket to Trat. Fares are between 270 THB – 350 THB per passenger depending on operators. The journey takes 6-7 hours on the road.
From Trat Bus Terminal to Trat 101 Hotel
Take a A Songthaew to Trat 101 Hotel. The fare is between 80 THB – 120 THB for a vehicle with 2 passengers. It takes only 10-15 minutes to arrive at the hotel.
A Songthaew is a mini truck with two bench seats in the back and a canopy on top. It does no have air conditioning. This vehicle is the main public transportation in Trat.
2.2. Trat 101 Hotel to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
From Trat 101 Hotel to Trat Bus Terminal
Take a Songthaew from Trat 101 Hotel to Trat Bus Terminal. Fare is 80 THB for 2 passengers with luggage. The recommended departure time from the hotel is 7:10h. The Songthaew ride to Trat Bus Terminal takes approximately 20-30 minutes. You will have enough time to purchase tickets for the 8:00h departure from Trat. Please let us know your preferred pick-up time, and we will make arrangements accordingly.

From Trat Bus Terminal to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
1. At Trat Bus Terminal, purchase tickets to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The journey takes 6-7 hours on the road.
2. While some buses or vans stop at Suvarnabhumi Airport, most of them terminate at Ekkamai Bus Terminal or Mochit Bus Terminal. Therefore, inform the staff AND THE DRIVER clearly that you need to go to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
3. Some buses or vans might drop you at the Airport Rail Link, Ladkrabang Station, due to congestion at the Suvarnabhumi Airport. From there, you can obtain Airport Rail Link tickets to Suvarnabhumi Airport. It takes only one station away, taking approximately 30 minutes including waiting time at this location.

Heading to Bangkok on Friday, Sunday, and long weekend
Due to heavy traffic in Bangkok starting after 2:00 p.m., we recommend leaving Trat early in the morning to avoid congestion. Please note that tickets on national holidays sell out a few weeks before departure. Please purchase tickets in advance and allow for extra time in case of traffic delays.
Foods at Trat Bus Terminal
There is a small house with shops in the area selling Thai rice & noodle, snacks, and beverages. If you are using the minivan, you will have 1-2 stops at gas stations with large 7-11 supermarkets. You can find good bakeries and beverages there too.
